Turtle
Tortugui
Calm and patient, Tortugui enjoys listening, learning and helping quietly. Her wisdom always surprises everyone.
Tortugui is a turtle, and she is calm and patient in a group where almost nobody is. She enjoys listening, learning and helping quietly, and her wisdom surprises everyone, which is the nicest part of her character: nobody expects the one who speaks least to be the one with the answer. She works as a counterweight to Blui and Capi. Where one speeds up and the other plans, she waits, and quite often waiting turns out to be the right move. For a child used to attention going to the loudest, she is a character worth having.
What this character shows
- Listening before answering, and that this counts as taking part too.
- Patience: that some things turn out better if you wait.
- That the quietest person in a group is not the one who knows least.
Watching together
A secondary character, appearing alongside the four leads across several pieces in the catalogue.
